About the Mindful Self-Compassion Course for Caregivers
Can you be too hard on yourself? Do you ever get stuck in your own inner narrative? Does it sometimes seem like nobody else feels the way you do? This brief course is for you if you would you like to treat yourself better, motivate yourself with kindness instead of criticism, and model for your children a compassionate way of relating to yourself.
The Mindful Self-Compassion Short Course is based on the groundbreaking research of Dr. Kristen Neff and the expertise of Dr. Christopher Germer. It is a six-week adaptation of the longer, empirically supported Mindful Self-Compassion course. Research shows that learning and using self-compassion practices promotes emotional wellbeing, healthy habits, and satisfying personal relationships — while reducing anxiety, depression, and stress.
