Anxiety and Mood Disorders Center
When children struggle with anxiety and mood disorders, they can experience distress and dysfunction in every sphere of life. Despite potential to achieve in school and the desire to form strong, rewarding relationships with family and friends, their symptoms can interfere with their abilities, needs and dreams.
The Child Mind Institute’s Anxiety and Mood Disorders Center is committed to giving these children and teens the treatment they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of the full range of anxiety and mood disorders and feel comfortable treating the most difficult cases. We can often help families who have struggled to find effective treatment in the past. Our goal is to empower both children and their families to understand and overcome struggles with emotions and anxiety.
