Glen R. Elliott, PhD, MD
Glen R. Elliott, PhD, MD, is currently Chief Psychiatrist and Medical Director at the Children’s Health Council. He also works one day a week as Associate Training Director at the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Stanford Medicine. Glen is not actively involved in research but is head of the writing committee for ‘i-SPOT ADHD’.
Dr. Elliott diagnoses and treats severe psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents. An internationally known expert in psychoactive medications, he is the author of Medicating Young Minds: How to Know if Psychiatric Drugs Will Help or Hurt Your Child. Before joining Children’s Health Council, Dr. Elliott was Director of the Children’s Center at the Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute at the University of California for over 17 years. He’s also Associate Training Director for the Stanford Child and Adolescent Psychiatry residency programs.
