As a school psychologist, Dr. Wong provided individual and group counseling to elementary school students and led multiple push-in social-emotional learning lessons in special education classrooms. She has consulted with teachers, parents, and other mental health providers (e.g., psychiatrists, social workers, school counselors, and case managers from adoption agencies) to create and implement individualized educational and behavioral interventions.
Dr. Wong serves as the Research Chair and board member for the New York Association of School Psychologists (NYASP) and is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Bilingual Interest Group Leadership Team.
