Kristin Wilcox
Kristin Wilcox, PhD, has spent over 20 years in academia as a behavioral pharmacologist studying drug abuse behavior and ADHD medications at Emory University and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her award-winning book Andrew’s Awesome Adventures with His ADHD Brain shares her son’s experiences with inattentive-type ADHD, and her insights on parenting an ADHD son. Dr. Wilcox has written about ADHD and neurodiversity for ADDitude and Attention magazines and is a regular contributor to Understood’s e-zine for/by. She serves on the executive board of the Inattentive ADHD Coalition, and her blog, Mythbusting ADHD, can be found on the Psychology Today website. Dr. Wilcox lives in Maryland with her husband and two sons.
